Reich introduced controversies in the scientific community and more importantly pioneered a technology that breaches out of date political dialogues and even leading up, as an intellectual framework, to the founding of many New Age religions.Reich’s inner thinking is described precisely in the book, in which he and his associates narrated a time of disruptive changes and scattered, but nevertheless scientific focus. Fairness, in his definition is paradoxical. It is at the same time unobservable and real, conflicting and resolving. As a psychologist, he seeks to unlock emotional blockage but accepts the importance of self control, or that “trigger happy” side of ours, found in meditative techniques.I particularly appreciate the examples he borrowed from his studies of Oriental practices, however sparse they are. Keeping an eye on philosophical differences, he remains focused in his work as a psychoanalyst, up until the day he departs himself from his intellectual circle.I believe Reich’s service was irreplaceable in the intelligence community and a credible person. There are not many out there running against the world in proving genuity.
