I thought this book was incredibly clever, from the title page, on. I’ve traveled all over the world and particularly like places that are very different from the US. I never bumped into any of these cultures, but wish I had! The book was a really enjoyable and “easy read” intro to some very strange ideas about sex and marriage. Who knew there are so many places where women call the shots about sex. It motivated me to dig more deeply into some that I thought are especially interesting. My boyfriend, who is also widely traveled, also read my copy and said it’s one of the funniest and most interesting books he’s read.
