I've been practicing yoga for four years, and have incorporated Tantra as a daily practice for at least a year and a half. I am by no means an expert. While the information contained in this book is just fine to broaden your expertise of sexual positions, it does a very good job at making Tantra look like a vanilla flavored New Age implementation. For some, that's exactly what they've gone out seeking, but I personally wanted my money back after spending a few hours reading it cover to cover, only to find a heavily New Age interpretation of loving meditation, some sex positions and random Osho quotes, to make it look "authentically tantric" (A moment of laughter for any persons actually sold on this.)For those that haven't already come to similar conclusions, Tantra is NOT a practice centered around sex, and you will corrupt yourself for future growth if you go into it with that attitude. Tantra is a great quilt, woven with threads of philosophy from all ages of Buddhism and Hindu-categorized spiritual beliefs, so anyone claiming to have one true definition of Tantra is a crackhead and you should probably look to different teachers. That being said, the authors seem to have a love-affair with Osho, as his words are the only present when a quote (which may or may not be Tantric) is provided in an attempt to bring authenticity to the work. You won't find any true-blooded Kaula or Aghora rituals in here, which surprised me, considering the mixing of bodily fluids during intercourse constitutes the apex of many of the ceremonies of those schools. It also lacks any mention of internalized Samaya practices, for those that would be offended by the gross form taken by the Kaula and Aghora. If 'magick' is off-putting to you, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but Tantra is for the most part synonymous with the term. If you buy this book, however, have no fear, for there is ZERO chance you'll be exposed to the scary uncivilized gore found in the real deal. This is not a bad book for trying to improve your sex life, but calling it 'Tantric Sex' and then presenting some 'adventurous' coital postures, the concept of soft penetration, and supporting it all with Osho talking about love, is a far cry, if not an outright obfuscation, as to what Tantra is and can be and comes off as a petty misleading marketing ploy, SO PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.This book has useful information pertaining to tantric sex; it is how the author lays out that info which is the main issue I have with the book. The title says "for MEN" but how they present the info to the reader shows a lack in understanding the male mind. To get around this issue, just be sure to read the whole book first. It's tl;dr from here on, so you can probably stop reading now unless you want details. The book starts out trying to sell tantric sex to you, which if a guy has went out of his way to buy a book about changing some part of his life, he's usually already interested in or sold on the topic via the internet. After that you think the author would dive right into the act of tantric sex ... nope. You are presented with supporting info from here and there about topics they haven't even presented to you yet and mixed into that are some parts of the foundation to tantric sex. Some of the tid-bits that I feel are important to allowing tantric sex to work for men are scattered and usually not with the info they reference. The book also holds out other important info until closer to the end. I know it can be a challenge guys, but finish the book first before jumping into bed with your lady. I also suggest the book, Cupid's Poison Arrow. Just be prepared. The first quarter of that book is aimed to sell you on tantric/karezza.This is an amazing book - I wish I had discovered it years ago! Every chapter is full of useful knowledge and practical tips for re-directing your attention away from the typical Western focus on "performance" toward a focus on just being present with your woman.Forget the Viagra - most of us don't need it if we quit obsessing about performance and sexual goals, and follow even a fraction of the suggestions in this book. The author does an excellent job of explaining concepts and presenting medical and physiological facts where they are needed in clear, easily understandable language. More important, the medical facts are connected clearly with emotional and spiritual ideas, so that it is all easy to fit together and easy to practice.Don't be fooled by the sub-title - to my mind it's not so much about making love a meditation (somehow that sounds much too sedate) as it is about removing or at least reducing stress and anxiety and increasing satisfaction - for both partners. All men should read this book. To make the woman feel amazing. There are times that conventional sex is desired but the bondin of energy comes from tantra. I highly recommend this book and exercise to become a better lover. Before I read this book I considered my self very knowledgeable in the art of love making. For all the men out there that think they know everything, this book will put you to shame. to be better or get better just buy the book and see for yourself. Don't take my word.My partner purchased the "Tantric Orgasm for Women" book and we had the most amazing vacation in Thailand using these 2 books.Getting beyond the wanting and trying to get something into a dimension beyond fertilization driven desires is a new window for me. I had been a fan of Osho and Barry Long for years and it is great to have these books which can give one a few ideas on the "nuts and bolts" of truly making love to woman.during and after reading this book i acquired so much relevant information on how to be simply present with your soul mate and what an incredible difference psychologically and spiritually this book has influenced me. Healthy sex is required to move forward as a couple and this book had done its job.:)As a gay man I have tried to find anything on Tantra just foe m2m sex. I tried this book and even though it is m2w, I did find a few helpful things. Not sure I would have bought it if I knew the real authority was Osho aka Bhagwan Shree RajneeshHaving prior knowledge of this topic I can't say I've learnt a lot from this book. It feels very stretched out, as though 50 pages would have been more than succinct. In that respect I find it rather repetitive to the point where I had to check I hadn't skipped back a few pages and was rereading the same section! It also has a lot of "letters" about people's experiences and I felt this space could have been used to provide practical exercises and breathing techniques to direct the sexual energy and circulate it within the body. I have given three stars because although the book barely scratched the surface of tantric theory and provided very little practical advice, affirming presence and relaxation during intercourse are nonetheless very important lessons to bear in mind. However, £15 is extortionate for what the book provides, if you want a book on actual tantra then buy Jewel in the Lotus by Sunyata Saraswati.Every man should read this book - in fact the information in here should be taught in schools. Give it as a wedding present to your friends (along with the Woman's version Tantric Orgasm for Women) - and make them happy for a lifetime. It's not a sex manual - it's a love manual.Great insight for men. How to love themselves and the women who bring us into this world....I enjoyed the explanation about "what is the rush about". I looking forward to using these insight through all aspects of my life. It's true the first step is stopping and preventing these wars starts with ourselves. I think this book is a good stepping stone.Excellent bookWow! Great read!
